Ver 1 has a glitch in regards to the yellow dye. If you put the yellow dye in the lab before filling the vial in the kitchen, you are fine. If not you will need to download Ver 2 and copy your saved game prior to this into the new version. There is a saved games folder in documents. Copy and paste from there.

If your downloading for the first time please use version 2.
